I wonder when it is some people became disconnected from the fairy realms? It seems our culture has no place for them these days...(ironicly we teach about Santa Claus, as jacob points out) I've met people who are all about thier children learning about nature, yet they don't want them to think fairies live in the trees.
I wonder...maybe the fairies are just to scared to visit their house because their afraid they'll kill them off? (peter pan, captain hook talking) or maybe they'e never seen them? at any rate, I feel sad for them, and I feel so much more sad for their little kiddos running around taking life so literally and not finding the JOY and MAGIC of the fairies.
I mean, how does one explain something like why certain flowers turn out certain colors? surely, its the root children who paint them underground before they sprout out in spring.
or where do all those sparkly rocks that appear in your garden randomly come from? surely its the gnomes bringing them.
or that box of cereal you SWORE you still had in the cubboard and is now missing? sure those pixes are up to no good!!
so tonight i'm going to pray to our god..."god, please let these people actually SEE a fairy with their own two eyes...seeing is believing...or is it that believing is seeing?"
